Condition: Constipation •  Deficiency Type
Treatment: Reinforce Qi and blood.
Description: Dry stools difficult to discharge, no abdominal distention and pain, but discomfort in the lower abdomen, difficulty to discharge stools despite hard efforts, or profuse sweating, shortness of breath and lassitude, pale complexion, palpitation, dizziness, blurred vision, pale tongue proper with thin coating, thready and feeble pulse.
Comment: Additional points are for crimson tongue body. HE6 for profuse sweating.

Point Selection:
BL20 • Pi Shu • On the middle back, 1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of the eleventh thoracic vertebra (T11).
Spleen Shu. Back Shu of the Spleen that connects with Front Mu LR13.
Explanation: Shu of Spleen.

BL21 • Wei Shu • On the middle back, 1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of the twelfth thoracic vertebra (T12).
Stomach Shu. Back Shu of the Stomach that connects with Front Mu CV12.
Explanation: Shu of Stomach

BL25 • Da Chang Shu • On the lower back, 1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of the fourth lumbar vertebra (L4).
Large Intestine Shu. Back Shu of the Large Intestine that connects with Front Mu ST25.
Explanation: Laxative, relax stool.

CV6 • Qi Hai • On the lower abdomen, on the anterior midline, 1.5 cun inferior to the umbilicus.
Sea of Qi. Front Mu Point for Sea of Qi that connects with Back Shu BL24.
Explanation: Sea of Qi.

SP6 • San Yin Jiao • On the medial leg, 3 cun superior to the medial malleolus, on the posterior border of the tibia.
Contraindication: Do Not Needle If Pregnancy is known or suspected.
Three Yin Intersection. Meeting Point on the Spleen Channel with the Liver and Kidney Channels.
Explanation: Meeting point of Liver, Spleen, Kidney.

ST36 • Zu San Li • On the leg, one finger breadth lateral to the tibia's anterior crest, 3 cun inferior to ST 35 in the depression to the lateral side of the patella.
Leg Three Li. He Sea Point on the Stomach Channel. Special Command Point for the Abdomen. Earth Point on the Earth Meridian.
Explanation: For crimson tongue body.
